Bane-Clene®

Professional Cleaning

There is a tested, proven and unique carpet cleaning system, called Bane-Clene, that will fully clean and freshen your carpets. Bane-Clene is a warm water extraction system that uses no abrasive brushes or harsh chemicals. Pressures, temperatures and the pH of the cleaning agent are carefully controlled. Bane Clene leaves carpets soft, the texture restored, the colors brightened and better able to withstand future soiling. Over 95% of the moisture is recovered with the Bane-Clene system; therefore, carpets dry faster, stay cleaner and last longer.

With Bane-Clene, all the heavy cleaning equipment STAYS in the truck - nothing comes in your home but the operator with the cleaning head and a long hose.

We bring our own pre-softened water; we don't use your water or disposal facilities. All the dirty water and unpleasant odor goes out through the hose into the truck - there's no messy cleanup afterwards.

In the case of high-rise apartments and condominiums, Bane-Clene systems are capable of portable operation without sacrificing the normal high quality of service. The Bane-Clene system of deep, warm water extraction will provide the optimum in appearance for your fine carpeting.

How to assure quick drying after the carpet is cleaned:

1. Be sure the room is ventilated. Air must move over the surface of the carpet to assure quick drying.
2. The best drying temperature is 72 to 78 degrees F.
3. Lowering the humidity by means of a dehumidifier or air conditioner will aid the drying.
4. A portable fan, furnace blower or air conditioner fan will speed drying time.

A FEW NO-NOs:

1. Never remove protective blocks or foil tabs from beneath furniture legs until carpet is thoroughly dry.

2. Do not allow fabrics, such as draperies or bedspreads, to come into contact with carpet while it is damp.

3. Never close off a room until carpet is dry.

4. Try to avoid traffic on a damp carpet. Remove shoes or make sure they are clean if it is necessary to walk on the carpet. Paper or plastic will impede drying and should not be used unless absolutely necessary.

AFTER YOUR CARPET IS THOROUGHLY DRY:
1. Resume normal daily vacuuming.
2. Sponge up spills immediately.

ADDITIONAL SUGGESTIONS:
When carpet is crushed or matted from the pressure of furniture legs, etc., brush lightly or use the edge of a coin to rough it up. Place a steam iron a few inches from the surface, spray with steam and brush. Repeat the process until pile is standing up again. Never touch the iron to carpet. Brush with a stiff-bristled brush. Hair spray may be used to set carpet pile that is not resilient.

When a carpet is damp for any reason, be sure to place pieces of aluminum foil under the legs of furniture in contact with the damp area. Metal tips will rust and leave a spot on the carpet, and even furniture polish might be drawn into the carpet to leave a stain. Never vacuum a damp carpet!

New Technology

Bane-Clene has worked with many fiber producers and carpet mills in testing their new products, and Bane-Clene has updated their training program to include instruction in the cleaning of all the new carpet materials. Regional meetings and video training tapes keep Bane-Clene representatives informed of changes in cleaning technology.

Major carpet manufacturers recommend carpets be professionally cleaned, and leading fiber producers and carpet mills recommend the Bane-Clene system.

You may purchase any carpet - from beautiful polyester to classic wool - and have complete confidence in calling a Bane-Clene certified representative to clean it.

Major carpet manufacturers use, recommend, or endorse "The Bane-Clene®" System
